You would think that driving on mountain trails, crystal clear lakes and endless views would never be boring, but I decided to completely adapt my route and through the arid regions of Argentina. You would think cycling hundreds of miles without meeting a tree would bore me, but I love it. My head is completely empty and I focus on the little things in life.

Despite showing my passport, I ended up at the police station… But instead of being arrested, I was able to spend the night in the country estate of the police station.

The difference with Patagonia is obvious. Where in Patagonia it was mainly about nature, here it is about the people who make this a great place. Every day I received an offer to stay for dinner or overnight (with accompanying fantastic stories). This is what I do it all for.
