With KOGA Light Design, we opted for the ultimate in integration, recognisability and safety. The lighting has literally become part of the bike, and because we think your safety is extremely important, we have ensured that the lighting is also visible from the side.
The headlight integrated in the stem has a regular and a daylight mode and comes in two versions; Regular with 35 lux and Premium with 50 lux. In addition, Light Design allows you to see from a distance that a KOGA is approaching. A bike to be seen!

The rear carrier is elegantly mounted by means of a hidden construction at the bottom of the mudguard. The cable for the rear light is integrated into the rear carrier.

Frequently asked question
Do I have to maintain my bike’s drive belt?
It is important to remove any sand, especially from the toothed side of your bike’s drive belt. This can be done with lukewarm water and some detergent if required. Although the belt can also be lubricated with dry silicon spray, it is not necessary.
Do I have a warranty on a KOGA bike I order online?
Only authorised dealers are allowed to sell KOGA bikes on their webshop. This way, the manufacturer’s warranty will also be valid on online orders.
What effect do hub dynamos have on the bike’s performance/rolling resistance?
A hub dynamo always produces rolling resistance when the bike is in motion. However the resistance is so minimal that you don’t notice it when cycling. At constant five kilometres per hour or more, the hub’s resistance will be virtually negligible. When the speed is high enough, the magnets will hardly attract each other at all. This results in the cancelling of any resistance. The main advantage of a hub dynamo is that it can work in conjunction with a light sensor so the lights are switched on automatically. This boosts safety while offering ease of use.

How do I maintain my bike’s chain?
Regular cleaning of your chain is essential. Use a special chain cleaner or lukewarm water and a brush. Your KOGA dealer will also be able to recommend a number of tools.
It is important to lubricate the chain after cleaning. For example, Teflon-based lubricants penetrate the chains really well and do not attract a lot of dirt.
Which dealer has my favourite KOGA model in stock?
KOGA does not monitor dealer stocks. Therefore, please don’t hesitate to contact your local KOGA dealer to check availability.
Is my bike suitable for a child seat?
Many KOGA bicycles are suitable for a child seat, primarily for a rear seat mounted to the seat tube of the frame. The maximum allowed load on the carriers of almost all current KOGA bicycles is a maximum of 25kg. For mounting a child seat on the carrier, a minimum load capacity of 27.5kg is required. We do not advise attaching a seat to the stem or seat tube. The stems and seat tubes we use in our current collection are not suitable for most child seats.
How is the frame size measured?
The frame size on KOGA bikes is measured from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. This distance in centimetres is the frame size. Your authorised KOGA dealer can calculate exactly which frame size fits you best.
