KOGA Kinsei Road racing bikes
Are you as fast as Harrie Lavreysen? The KOGA Kinsei is inspired by the bike of the same name used by Dutch track cyclists to grab medal after medal, but completely optimalised for the road. 'Kinsei' means made for gold in Japanese and to every fibre, this aero racer is made to outpace air resistance. Your competition has already been warned!
Model explanation
The Kinsei series consists of four bikes. The differences within the series are in the colour scheme and the fittings. The Kinsei Pro is the top model in the series, with Shimano Dura Ace Di2 R9200 equipment (with power meter), carbon DT Swiss ARC-1100 wheels and carbon aero handlebars. The Kinsei Prime is the next model in the line-up. This version is fitted with Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8100, 50mm high carbon KOGA wheels and an aluminium aero handlebar.
The Kinsei Premium stands out because of the SRAM Rival AXS electronic and wireless shifting group, the 50mm high KOGA carbon wheels and the aluminium handlebars with ergonomic top.
Finally, there is the Kinsei Prestige, the entry-level model in the series. Yet shifting on the Prestige is also wireless, with the new Shimano 105 Di2 R7150 groupset. The Prestige is fitted with aluminium DT-Swiss P-1800 Spline wheels and the same handlebars as the Kinsei Premium.

RECENTLY Elected ROAD BIKE OF THE YEAR!
The KOGA Kinsei Pro has been nominated Road Bike of the Year 2023. Of the three nominated bikes, the jury was most impressed by the top model from the Kinsei series. The jury praised the beautiful paintwork, the top finish and the beautiful frame.
"The wow factor is definitely there. "And once on the road, the first impression remains. Rigidity is perfectly fine, good straight-line stability, confidence through the 28mm tires. KOGA's involvement with the national track team has been put down here in a very fast bike for the road. KOGA has shown with the Kinsei Pro that their racing DNA is still very much alive."

Impressions
From track bike to road bike
Including three gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics, the KOGA Kinsei can rightly call itself the fastest track bike in the world. We have combined all the knowledge of aerodynamics we gained in developing the track bike with almost 50 years of experience in making the best road bikes. The result is an all-new aero racer.
Of course, the demands on a road bike are very different from those on a track bike. On a track bike, you often only need to go as fast as possible for one lap, whereas on a road bike, you sometimes spend hours in the saddle. That's why, among other things, we have adapted and optimised the geometry for the road and the Kinsei Road is fitted with 28mm tyres. Who will you beat in the sprint?
